If you are using the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra controller, and the Bluetooth is disconnecting, follow these steps for possible solutions.
Software Glitches
Often Bluetooth connection issues occur because of glitches with the software of either device in connecting. Sometimes these can happen at no fault of the user. The easiest solution is to perform a factory reset to clear all custom settings.
- Hold the x button until the lights come on.
- Press the plus button on the front of the controller.
- Press the Y button to enter the menu on screen.
- Navigate with the D-pad until you reach the system option in the navigation, select this option with the A button.
- Select "Reset to defaults" with the A button.
- Turn controller back on and try to connect to the console.
If these steps didn't work, move on to the next option.
Outdated Firmware
Another common cause for Bluetooth connection problems is that the device is in need of an update in order to work properly. Follow these steps to ensure your Turtle Beach controller is up to date.
- Download the "Turtle Beach Control Center 2" app on either your PC or Xbox.
- Plug the controller into the console or PC using your USB-C charging cable.
- Turn on the controller
- Open the "Control Center 2" app on your Xbox or PC.
- Navigate to the Firmware tab on the top right section of the app.
- Under the "Transceiver" section, click the "begin update" button.
- Wait for completion.
