吸尘器无法启动
当打开电源开关时，听不到电机运转的声音。
插在了有故障的插座上
在假设吸尘器本身有问题之前，请先确保所使用的插座功能正常。首先，确认是否有控制该插座的灯开关处于“开启”位置。接下来，插入其他电器（例如灯具或电视机）测试一下。同时确保测试电器处于开启状态。如果该电器能正常工作，则说明插座没有问题。如果不能，请检查断路器或联系电工。
电机故障
检查吸尘器是否已接通电源，并将开关拨至开启位置。如果确实如此但电机仍未启动，则可能是电机损坏。要解决此问题，请参考电机故障维修指南。
电源开关故障
检查吸尘器是否已接通电源，并将电源开关拨至开启位置。如果仍无法启动，则可能是电源开关的连接不良。要解决此问题，请参考电源开关更换指南。
电源线短路
吸尘器断电的另一个原因可能是电源线短路。电线短路可能引发电气隐患。确认是否存在短路的一种方法是每隔两英寸（约 5 厘米）将电线卷曲一下，观察是否会影响吸尘器的供电。如果确认短路，请参考电源线更换指南。
软管排出粉尘
吸尘时，粉尘从吸尘器的软管中排出。
未安装过滤器
拔下吸尘器的电源插头并将其关闭。拆下吸尘器的黑色顶盖。确保黑色泡沫过滤器安装到位，且滤袋安装正确。滤袋仅适用于收集灰尘和干燥碎屑。
过滤器损坏
关闭吸尘器并拔下电源插头。拆下吸尘器的黑色顶盖。如果黑色泡沫套或滤袋损坏，请将其拆下并更换为新的过滤器。
过滤器堵塞
过滤器堵塞会导致电机过热。请确保吸尘器已关闭并拔下电源插头。拆下吸尘器的黑色顶盖，然后取下堵塞的过滤器。你可以选择更换过滤器或将其清理干净。如果经常发生堵塞，也可以考虑更换效率更高的过滤器。
过滤器外壳破损
过滤器外壳破损可能导致吸入的粉尘无法被有效留存。打开吸尘器，确认过滤器安装到位，并检查吸尘器内部的过滤器外壳。如果发现外壳破损，请参考外壳维修指南。
吸力减弱
吸尘时，吸力不如以往那么强劲。
软管松动
吸力不足的一个常见原因是软管连接不当。检查软管与吸尘器之间的连接处，将软管完全推入，确保其连接紧密。
过滤器堵塞
如果吸尘器在运转但感觉到吸力非常微弱，可能是过滤器堵塞了。打开吸尘器并查看过滤器泡沫套，如果看起来非常脏或覆盖了大量灰尘，则说明可能已堵塞并限制了通过吸尘器的气流。拆下过滤器进行清理或更换新的过滤器。
集尘桶已满
如果吸力持续减弱，或者你正在清理大量垃圾，又或者距离上次清理集尘桶的时间已经很久，那么集尘桶可能已经满了。集尘桶装满会影响吸尘器的气流。要解决此问题，请先打开吸尘器。对于干燥垃圾，取出滤袋并丢弃，换上新的；对于潮湿垃圾，请倾倒并清洁主集尘桶。
软管破洞
在吸尘器开启的状态下，堵住软管的一端。你可以让朋友帮忙或亲自用手沿着软管管身滑动。如果仍能感觉到空气被吸入，说明软管有破洞。此时你需要购买一根新软管。

I have a 12 gallon vac. Why does air blow out the hole discharge at the same time when the hose is plugged into the vacuum end? I just installed a new filter.

Did you ever solve this? Mine is doing the same thing. I took it apart, cleaned out all loose debris and installed all new filters and it hadn’t helped.

Hey, I was wondering if u ever figured out if it was Normal or an Issue that your Shop Vac was blowing air outta the Rear Blower Port, an suctioning air from the Front Blower Port at the Same Time.
I ask cause I have the Exact thing happening to me.
I turned the vacuum on to vacuum up drywall dust an right from the very beginning I had Suction from the Front Port an Blowing coming outta the Rear Port at the same time.
I'd love to know if you figured out what's going on.

I have this problem also wirh my Craftsman shop vav … new vacuum, first time use, new filter, everything in excellent condition and properly seated filter. Need an answer. Vacuum works anyhow and no dust is blowing out, and it appears designed to do both at the same time…disturbing. Turning the blower off or on requires some type of blower switch, and instructions say to just plug in the hose on the blower hole to turn it on, but there is no sign of any switch, magnet, or other anywhere around the blower opening. I think it is built to be always on.

Air sucks in the vacuum port, swirls through the canister, then travels through the filter and over the motor (to cool it) and is exhausted out the blower port.
The air flows this way regardless of the port you plugged the hose into.
All vacuums exhaust air but some shop vacs take advantage of this to use as a blower option.
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature. =)
