This troubleshooting page will help you diagnose problems with the Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Blade Stealth 2016.
Weak Wireless Connection
The device’s wireless network is being either slow or disconnecting, or the internet is loading slowly or not at all.
Set power savings options to high performance. Set “power plan” and “Intel HD graphics” to high performance by going into your option menu, clicking on “graphics Properties,” and then clicking on “HD Intel Graphics Control Panel.” From there, click on “power” and then choose “on battery” from the menu on the left. Disable the power saving technology and click “apply.” Additionally, to increase wireless speed, lower display resolution to 1080. You can do this by going to the intel control panel, clicking on “graphics properties,” and then “display tab.” In the scaling section you can lower your display resolution. Run speed check using an online speedtest.
Outdated Wireless Card Driver
Update the wireless card driver in “device” settings by downloading the 64-bit Killer Wireless Drivers that are easily accessible and available online. Click the start button, then device manager, and open network adapters. Right click “Killer Wireless Adapter” and click “update driver.” Click “browse” and select the 64-bit driver. Run speed check using an online speedtest.
Faulty Killer Network Manager
Disable the Killer Network Manager. Do this by going to start button, then device manager, then network adapters. Click on “killer wireless” and “disable device”. If that doesn't work, use a killer wireless suite. Avoid the killer suite that is available on their website, it commonly causes problems. Get suite from Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Support separately. If you've tried the different killer suites with no success, try including the beta drives. If beta drives don't work, use the suite-less drivers. Run speed check using an online speedtest.
Carefully pop off the antenna connections. Do this by detaching all cables that go to the screen. Unscrew the hinges, slide the screen off, slip off the plastic coverings, and now you can see where the antennas are. Carefully remove the connections. Connect Intel NUC antennas, power on the machine, and run a speedtest again.
Distorted or No Audio
Audio is fuzzy or crackling during audio playback.
Go to the settings to ensure that the sound is on and is not mute.

Requires a Hard Restart
If your screen in frozen, perform a “hard restart” on your device. To do this, remove the battery from the device, wait 5-10 seconds, then place it back in its correct slot. Afterwards, start up your device again to see if the issue has been resolved.
Go to the windows key and type power options. When you’re here, be sure to check to see if your device is in “high performance” mode. While this mode is useful when gaming, turning it off can help not overheat the device.
Screen is Flickering/Glitching
The screen’s images it displays flicker briefly or the screen has moments where vertical lines appear and then disappear at random.
When purchasing a brand new device, there could still be some issues with the software and graphics drivers not being the most current and up to date. You can do this by simply checking if an update is available for your Razer Blade Stealth 2016, or by going to Intel’s website and downloading the most recent graphic drivers available.
Lower your resolution of the Razer Blade Stealth 2016 to 1080p. This will allow to still have a clear, smooth picture but not overload your Razer Blade Stealth 2016’s ability to refresh the image to a higher quality one that could have the potential to slow down it’s performance.
If the flickering only appear when you open a specific app on your Razer Blade Stealth 2016 then it may just be that app that’s specifically causing the issue. If so, simply delete the app and see if that restores the image quality.
Requires Reset and Restore
Finally, a complete system restore may be the issue. Sometimes certain updates or changes to your Razer Blade Stealth 2016 can cause issues that can only be fixed by restoring your device back to its initial condition in which you purchased it in. To do this, go to your devices general settings. Scroll through until you find a section that says factory reset, system restore, etc. Click on that option and follow the steps proceeding as your Razer Blade Stealth resets its settings.
