Unresponsive Keys
The keys on my keyboard are not responding.
Poor Keyboard Connection
Check that the keyboard is plugged into your computer. If the keyboard isn’t then please plug into your computer.
Outdated Drivers
Please check that your computer is running the proper driver for the Razer Blackwidow tournament edition chroma. If you don’t know, or know you don’t have the proper driver please visit the Razer Synapse 3 Driver webpage to download the proper driver.
Slow/Sticky Keys
While typing I have noticed a that the keys start to move slower or will stick at times.
Debris Buildup
This is due to a build up of dust and other debris underneath the keys. This can be taken care of by regularly cleaning of the keyboard. To learn how to properly remove the keys to clean it please refer to the first part of our guide to replacing the metal bars.
Sticky Keys
This is due to dust being trapped, or a mechanical part breaking causing a key to be stuck. Remove the key covers to further analyze the problem. Please refer to our metal bars replacement guide for further help.
Malfunctioning LED Lights
I have noticed that the LED lights inside the keyboard are not turning on.
Device Connection
Connect your keyboard to the computer, if the LEDs still don’t turn on then there might be a mechanical issue. If this is the case please see our replacement guide for further help.
Keyboard is Not Connecting
When I plug my keyboard into my laptop it doesn’t connect
Faulty USB Cable
Try plugging the cable into another compatible device. If your device work with the other device then it is due to your computer's USB port. But, if the other device does not connect then please replace the USB cable.
Broken USB Port
If you plugged a new cable in and your Razer keyboard still doesn’t work then your issue deals with a broken usb port. Please see our replacement guide for the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma USB Port Board Replacement.
Keyboard is Moving
While I type, the keyboard is not stable.
Missing RubberFeet
If any of the rubber feet are missing or damaged beyond repair, refer to the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma Rubber Feet Replacement.
Worn Rubber Feet
If any of the rubber feet are overly worn, then consider replacing them or using a mat to provide some grip.
