No matter what you do, you can't get your sound to work.

Double check that you haven’t left the volume muted or on very low. Press the physical plus (+) button next to the micro SD slot to hopefully increase the volume and resolve your issue.

Restart your device. Press and hold the power button until a modal window pops up which says "power off." Press the button to shut the device down. Once it has completely powered off, press the power button again to start the device up.

The device will not record any sound

You may be unable to record if the hole in-between the headphone jack and micro usb port is blocked. This is where the device microphone is located.

If there is physical blockage within the mic port, you can take a thin object (a paperclip for example) to clean it up.

No matter what you do, you can't get your device to turn on.

If your device has not been plugged in for an extended amount of time, your battery may need to recharge enough to power itself. Plug in your device and allow it to charge for an extended amount of time - a couple of hours usually is sufficient. If this is not effective, you may need to replace it. You open the Camera but see a black screen

With a camera app open, try swapping the camera between the front and rear cameras. If you are unsure of how to swap the cameras - look at the documentation for the application you are using. In the event that this doesn't solve your issue, try restarting the device by holding down the power button and selecting the "Power Off" modal window when it appears. If only the front camera works, then the rear camera needs to be replaced. To do so, follow this guide.

The volume button will not change the volume on the device.
