摄像机无法开机
首先，确保电池已装入摄像机中。
电池电量耗尽
将充电器连接到摄像机上的充电口并接入电源。如果你将充电器插在排插上，请确保排插已接通墙壁电源，且开关处于“开”的位置。在下次使用前，让电池充电几个小时。
电源未供电
如果摄像机连接电源几个小时后仍无法开机，电源可能未供电。尝试将充电器连接到另一个电源。
电池无法充电
正确连接充电器
仔细检查充电器是否已正确连接到摄像机上的充电口。
更换电源
确保你为充电器供电的电源能够正常供电。尝试使用其他电源进行验证。如果电池充电几小时后仍无反应，考虑购买一块新电池。参阅电池更换的维修指南。
充电器损坏
如果充电器已正确连接至摄像机且电源供电正常，那么可能是充电器本身已损坏。考虑购买一个新充电器。
磁带无法弹出
首先，确保你按下了磁带仓上方的“EJECT”按钮。
无电源
检查电池电量是否充足，且摄像机已开启。
磁带仓释放装置损坏
如果摄像机电量充足且“EJECT”按钮功能正常，但磁带仍无法弹出，则可能需要更换电机。
取景器画面漆黑或模糊
镜头盖未取下
请将镜头盖从镜头上取下。
自动对焦关闭
在摄像机前部侧面的按钮面板附近，将开关从“Manual”（手动）拨动至“Autofocus”（自动对焦）。如果图像仍未对焦，请将选项切回“Manual”并旋转镜头，直到图像清晰为止。
镜头脏污
轻轻向镜头吹气，以除去残留的灰尘或污垢。使用布擦拭镜头上的指纹或残留灰尘。不要用力按压镜头。若有污垢，可考虑使用专门的镜头清洁刷，使用时动作要非常轻柔。
更换取景器
确保镜头和取景器目镜都清洁干净。如果画面依然模糊，旋转取景器左侧的对焦旋钮，直到图像清晰。如果画面仍不清晰，请参阅取景器更换的维修指南。
摄像机无法回放视频
首先确保磁带仓内装有磁带。
将开关拨至“PLAYBACK”
务必将位于顶部按钮面板上的摄像/回放开关滑动至回放位置。
磁带脏污
如果回放屏幕显示为蓝色或无法播放，可能是磁带脏了。如果有压缩空气，请使用带有吸管附件的压缩空气，对着磁带馈送路径两侧的开口喷气。同时向磁带底部的孔中喷气。这可以清除积聚的灰尘和污垢。再次尝试回放，看看效果是否有所改善。
排线短路
检查连接摄像机和取景器的排线。如果排线有切口或断裂，这可能是视频无法回放的原因。考虑更换排线以恢复视频回放。
回放时无音频
调大音量
检查摄像机右后下方的音量旋钮是否已转至“max”（最大）。
扬声器排线短路
如果你已将音量旋钮完全转至“max”但仍无音频回放，则可能是连接扬声器的排线短路了。参阅内置扬声器更换的维修指南。
内置麦克风故障
如果你已将音量完全转至“max”但仍无音频回放，则可能是内置麦克风损坏。参阅内置麦克风更换的维修指南。
显示时间错误
取景器中显示的时间不正确。
时钟电池没电
如果更换摄像机电池后，取景器中的时间戳重置，说明你的时钟电池没电了。检查摄像机背板上的“Clock Battery”扣锁并更换时钟电池。更换时，将时钟电池向下推，电池就会弹出。更换时，确保电池有文字的一面朝外。
重置时间
找到侧面按钮面板下方的翻盖门。使用“select”（选择）和“advance”（前进）按钮设置时间。
特效按钮失灵
首先，确保摄像机已开机。如果设备进水，或者在开机状态下按钮仍无响应，你可能需要更换特效按钮电路板。参阅下方维修指南进行操作。

Can i play mini dv with my sony trv18e camcorder without a battery in it .?(Don't have bettery) using only ac power adaptor.

This is probably a long shot but I recently purchased a used rca cc310 on FB marketplace. I got it to properly eject by replacing a disintegrated belt with a rubber band and it worked perfectly. Cleaned the heads and it started showing picture through the viewfinder. Assumed I had a hidden gem in near working order, and I still do. Everything was working up until recently. The viewfinder and camera module do seem to still need some warming up (and a few knocks to the casing) to display but one issue has arisen. When I go to record or playback a tape (that is when the tape is to be taken up with the reel, played/recorded at normal speed) it just won't do it. Every other feature works. FF, RW, the motor feeding the tape to the spool works. Just when it's trying to playback or record the spool wont turn. I suspect it's a wiring issue, because there's no obstruction, and the motor driving that spool operates with other tasks. Help? It's a specific issue

I’m not sure if this is your problem but I ran into similar issues with my CPR-350 SVHS camcorder. The tape would wrap around the play head but not move. I needed to replace the pinch roller which is the rubber cylinder before the play head. it was old and not gripping the tape enough. Also I ran into additional issues due to the video head being dirty. It wasn’t visibly dirty but the tape had trouble with it anyway. I cleaned it with alcohol Q tips and an old tooth brush then it worked a lot better .
Also there is at last 1-2 more rubber belts in there, a square tubular belt and a flat belt. I ordered replacement belts for those and the eject belt because rubber bands have a really short lifespan and if you can get them to work, they won’t last more than a couple years.

I don’t think you can anymore. You’d have go back in time to 1989 and contact RCA :)
A possible option is to look on ebay for a used model then pull the circuit board out of it. I’ve seen parts also for sale. I also use shopgoodwill.com for finding these things. I wanted parts for one of mine but ended up getting one in better shape so I don’t want to take it apart.
