Logitech UE Hyperboom Does Not Power On
When you press and hold the top power button on your Logitech UE Hyperboom, your speaker does not power on as expected. Follow these steps to get your speaker running again.
Speaker Not Charged
Check to see if your speaker is out of battery by plugging the charging cable in and looking at the LED indicator on the power button . If the LED is solid, the speaker is fully charged. If the LED is flashing, the speaker is not fully charged, and is currently charging to full battery.
Faulty Power Button
Often, a power button might experience a disconnect in sending a signal to the rest of the speaker to power on. This could be a result of dust collection underneath the button, or deterioration of the components of the button. To fix this, disassembly is required to assess which of these is the true cause. Refer to our [power button replacement guide] for instructions.
Faulty Battery
The lithium-ion battery inside can be susceptible to various external factors such as water intrusion because the speaker uses a soft power circuit. In order to correct this issue, the speaker must be taken apart, and the battery removed to identify the issue. Refer to our [battery replacement guide] for instructions.
DC Power Socket Malfunction
It is possible that the internal components are intact, but the power socket prevents charging due to obstructions or deterioration. To fix this issue, you must take the DC power socket apart to check for particles or damage. If there is more damage than just dirt or grime, replacement will be necessary. Refer to our [power socket replacement guide] for disassembly and replacement instructions.
Faulty Motherboard
If none of the above steps fix the problem, more than likely the motherboard needs to be replaced. Refer to our [motherboard replacement guide] for instructions.
