The E4 error typically indicates that the appliance is only receiving 110 volts instead of the required 220 volts. To address this, begin by pulling the dryer forward and removing the back access panel where the power cord connects. Inspect the junction block to ensure there are no visible signs of damage or short circuits. If everything appears normal, proceed to test the power supply using a multimeter. Measure the voltage between the two outer power wires at the terminal block; ideally, you should register 220 volts. If not, consider resetting the power breaker or seek assistance from an electrician.

My dryer plays its song to signal the end of the cycle but the drum is still spinning and instead of an error code, I get a rectangular image of dashes that rotate. Any ideas what this can be?

It's likely that the rotating blinking lights you're seeing in the display indicate that the Wrinkle Prevent feature is active. This function keeps the dryer tumbling after the cycle finishes, but without applying heat, to prevent wrinkles from forming on your clothes. When you activate Wrinkle Prevent by pressing the corresponding button on the control panel, the display will show a countdown of the remaining cycle time. Once the cycle is complete, the lights will blink in a circular (or rectangular) pattern.
To turn off Wrinkle Prevent, just press the Wrinkle Prevent button again until the indicator light turns off.
