包装袋无法密封
密封尝试后，空气泄漏进入袋中。
包装袋插入不正确
确保纹理包装袋上的脊线垂直于密封条。包装袋光滑的一面必须朝上。将设置调至“湿润”（moist）而非“干燥”（dry），然后尝试再次密封包装袋。如果这样做无法解决问题，你可能需要 更换密封条。
密封条太湿
拉出密封条，将其擦干并重新装回机器中。
食物中水分过多
密封后食物变得潮湿。
在使用本设备前，先将食物冷冻。尝试在“湿润”设置下密封食物。
如果这不起作用，将食物先放入另一个密封袋中，再放入 FoodSaver 包装袋内。
提醒：泵内液体过多会导致故障。如果产品无法正常工作，记得在使用前排空泵内的液体。
设备无法抽走袋中空气
包装袋略微膨胀，且未能正确密封。
密封垫无法密封
取出密封垫并进行清洗。记得确保包装袋在设备中的位置正确，以便正确密封。
包装袋位置不当
将包装袋旋转 90 度并重新插入。确保包装袋上的竖线垂直于机器的加热条（或密封条）。
密封条磨损
更换 密封条。
配件软管故障
检查配件软管（如果正在使用）是否有效地抽出了空气。如果没有，打开 底盖 查看所有真空管是否已连接到泵上。
真空泵和隔膜不工作
如果机器发出噪音但无法从袋中抽出空气，则真空泵及其隔膜可能需要更换。

包装袋插入不当或设备过热
缓慢取出并重新插入包装袋。机器过热时也可能出现这种情况。等待十分钟后再试。
提醒：两次密封之间请至少等待 20 秒。
插入包装袋后设备无反应
设备中已插入包装袋，但无法对其进行密封或抽真空。
电源故障
确保机器已插入功能正常的插座，并且电源已打开。
接水盘已满
清洁接水盘，擦干后重新装回机器中。
设备过热
通过用手触摸电器侧面可以感觉到温度升高。
等待 10 到 15 分钟后再尝试使用电器。确保电器放置在通风良好的地方，且附近没有其他电器。
设备使用过度
遵循上述同样的步骤。

I've noticed that the bag sensor flaps seem to hang up and cause the machine to malfunction. There's no real was to access these flaps to clean them.

Edward, I had the same trouble with the sensor flaps. I’d enter a bag to seal it, hold it straight across… cut off a little of the bag… all the tricks to make it work but it just wouldn’t activate the vacuum sealer. Here’s what I did to fix it.
If you turn the sealer over and open the drawer you’ll see there are two floppy plastic pieces. You’ll also see the seal gasket that the drawer gasket seals press and seal against. If the flappers and seal rings are dirty and gummed up the sealer won’t work.
To clean them used a tooth brush (soft bristle) and brushed the goo off the flaps, top bottom and around the seal rings. I used awesome cleaner to spray the parts/pieces in there to clean the gummed up goo. I found that it got pretty wet from the cleaning but it does dry out with a paper towel or thin cotton rag. I think a Q tip might be helpful cleaning and drying in there too.

Just saved me $150! I had this problem with my 4980 and had bought a replacement when I saw this comment. The new one is going back to Costco.

I’m so glad I found your post. You just saved me a heap of time and money. I also noticed when I was looking at those flaps…one had folded down the wrong way. Cleaned and reset the flaps. The Foodsaver hasn’t worked this good in a long time.
