运行速度缓慢
你的电脑运行速度缓慢。
后台进程占用 CPU 和内存
同时按下 Ctrl、Shift 和 Esc 键以调出任务管理器。使用标记为“更多详细信息”的向下箭头，查看哪些程序占用了大量 CPU 和内存。你可以通过查看标题为“CPU”和“内存”的列，寻找其旁边百分比最高的程序。如果有不需要且占用大量 CPU 和内存的程序，你可以右键点击并选择“结束任务”来终止这些程序。这样做可以释放大量 CPU 和内存资源，从而提升运行速度。
可能存在恶意软件问题
你的 Precision M6600 可能感染了病毒。要在 Windows 操作系统中修复此问题，你可以进入搜索栏并输入“Windows 安全中心”，然后选中它。打开后，选择“病毒和威胁防护”。在那里，你应该会看到一个名为“快速扫描”的选项。要扫描病毒，请选择该选项并等待其完成。完成后，结果会显示你的设备是否感染了病毒。如果确实存在病毒，这很可能是导致运行速度缓慢的原因，清除病毒很可能会改善你的运行速度。
开机黑屏

驱动程序过时
驱动程序（特别是视频驱动程序）可能已经过时。要更新驱动程序，请点击“开始”按钮，在搜索框中输入“设备管理器”。浏览列表直到找到“显示适配器”，然后双击它。展开后，选择你的显卡名称，将打开一个窗口。选择顶部的“驱动程序”选项卡，然后点击“更新驱动程序”。在此处，你可以按照 Windows 提供的步骤完成更新。
性能水平不稳定
如果驱动程序已是最新版本但问题依然存在，请下载 Nvidia PowerMizer。你可以前往 http://www.nvidia.com/object/feature_pow... 下载最新版本，或者通过谷歌搜索下载。安装完成后，打开它并勾选“enable powermizer”（启用 PowerMizer）框。接下来，选择标记为“fixed performance level”（固定性能级别）的框，并确保将电池和电源供电模式都选为“medium”（中等）。当电池和电源模式都设置为中等后，选择“disable overheat slowdown”（禁用过热降频）。点击“OK”（确定），设置应当会保存，问题应该能得到解决。

散热风扇故障
如果电脑出现过热，很有可能是散热风扇损坏，需要更换。你可以按照此处的指南进行操作。
主板损坏
如果问题仍未解决，那一定是温度传感器出了问题。温度传感器是主板的一部分，这意味着需要更换整个主板。
过热
设备因过热而死机。
散热风扇无法正常开启
从“开始”菜单打开控制面板。点击“硬件和声音”，然后点击“电源选项”。此时应会打开一个新窗口。点击“更改计划设置”，然后点击“更改高级电源设置”。打开电源选项对话框后，选择“高级设置”选项卡。点击“处理器电源管理”旁的加号以打开子菜单。选择“系统散热方式”会弹出一个菜单，接着在菜单中点击“主动”。这应该会提高 CPU 散热风扇的转速。点击“应用”，然后点击“确定”以保存这些更改。
导热膏失效
问题可能出在导热膏上，因为它干涸了，这种情况每隔几年就会发生一次。要解决这个问题，请进入电脑内部的主板，将散热风扇从其位置上拆下。散热风扇下方有导热膏，用来防止风扇在它下方的金属表面上受热。清除旧的导热膏并换上新的，然后将风扇装回原位。
键盘和触摸板失灵
敲击按键或点击触摸板时，没有任何反应。
触摸板损坏
你的触摸板可能已经彻底损坏。一个解决方法是同时按下 Fn 和 F5 键来禁用触摸板。禁用触摸板后，你可以为设备插入并使用外接鼠标。
按键发送多个或错误的信号
键盘很有可能受过水渍损坏。要修复此问题，你可以将小号一字螺丝刀之类的工具伸入按键下方，缓慢向上用力来拆下按键。开始时先用一点力，然后缓慢增加力度，直到按键弹出。按键弹出后，可以使用纸巾在按键原位置及其周围轻拭。待其看起来干燥后，将按键对准原位置，用力按压直到按键卡回原位。

Are you just that stupid with the black screen on boot section? All of the listed stuff requires actually being able to boot and see one's OS. If the PC or laptop only shows black, your suggestions are NOT possible.

Obviously, a student assignment made from internet information and not from a real and experienced understanding of basic computer processes and hardware.
Still everyone must start somewhere. I don't expect a student to be a class AAA electronics tech.
I have found Ifixit vids to be super helpful many times.

hello there i am using dell precision m6600 when i restart my laptop so after restart display goea and black screen appears untill i plugged out battery and power supply. And hold power button for few seconds. And after that when i turned it on then the display comes can anyone help me out

I have found the issue of the instant thermal CPU and the GPU overheating at boot for the M6600 to be caused by a wireless card in the WWAN slot especially if another wireless card is also present in the other slot.
Fans are either 100% or off with the bios reporting 10k/0 rpm respectively. The bios was A18. The sensor seemed confused.
Removing the card from the WWAN slot instantly cured this issue in two different machines.
I think a current over-draw condition occurs and is overheating a sensor nearby or on a trace for the sensor.
I can feel some localized heat also so perhaps the card could be causing an airflow/ heat exchange issue.
The issue may not require a new motherboard for bad sensors but an investigation as to what devices are in the unit and drawing power.
I hope this helps someone. I bought parts for component repair before accidentally stumbling on this solution.
It may not be the motherboard if the heat issue is occurring at boot.

I have a m6600 and when I try to boot mine up. Two things happens. The fan starts but stops and the battery LED indicator flashes. Nothing on the screen shows. I have swapped multiple motherboards of the same model and it's still the same issue unfortunately. I really have little experience repairing laptops
