Router unresponsive with no apparent functioning

The router has been connected to power supply, modem and the computer with functioning internet, and the product is still not responding.

Voltage issues

Sometimes incorrect voltage can cause issues with functioning. Using a power supply with a voltage that is too high or low may damage the device. Make sure that you are using an outlet with proper voltage of 120v.

Cable ports

Proper placement of cables is vital for the function of your device. Make sure that you have the cables in the right ports and that they are connected to the proper corresponding ports.

Resetting the router

Sometimes the router simply needs to be rebooted for top performance. Reset the router using the button on the back of the device.

Power source

Make sure that the root of the problem is not in the power source that you are using. If this is the issue, choose an alternative outlet to connect to the router.

Internet connection

No internet connection means no working router. Make sure that your computer is connected to internet.

Cable connection

Make sure that the cables are connected properly and are not loose. Unplug the cables and plug them back into the router securely.

Ventilation

Poor ventilation can cause your router to overheat and stop functioning. Place the router in a new position to ensure proper ventilation.

Router Is Not Showing Apparent Connection To The Computer From The Computer.

Poor connection

Make sure that your router is properly connected to your computer. Unplug all cables and replug them securely on both ends.

Computer function issues

Restart your computer to see if it recognizes your router at start up. Perhaps this is a glitch in your computer, not your device.
