Camera won't turn on
No matter what you do, the camera will not turn on.
Drained/Damaged battery
The battery may need charging or replacing.
Bad logic board
The logic board is not working properly and needs to be replaced.

Lens is stuck
The camera lens does not move to focus or retract.
Dirty lens-opening mechanism
Particles may be caught inside the lens chamber. Clean with a soft dry cloth. Check the dis-assembly guide for hard-to-reach areas.
Broken lens
The lens itself may be broken. It needs replacement.
Function buttons do not respond
The buttons on the camera do not respond.
Menu pad is broken
If the menu pad next to the display does not respond, the pad will need to be replaced.
Top panel does not work
If the buttons on top of the camera do not respond, it may need to be replaced.
Display does not show proper image
Nothing shows on the screen or the image is distorted.
LCD is not connected properly
Check the connections to make sure that they are properly placed.

LCD is broken
If the screen is broken, then it will need to be replaced.
Flash does not work properly
The camera's flash does not work.
Flash setting is off
Check to make sure the flash setting is on before assuming that there is a problem.
Low battery
Battery may be too low for flash use. Recharge battery and check if flash works.
Broken flash unit
The flash itself may be damaged. If so, the unit will need to be replaced.

Battery/Memory card slot not working
The battery and/or memory card do not properly fit into their respective slots.
Broken Battery/Memory card slot
If the battery and/or memory card does not easily slide into their slots, or the camera does not register that they are connected, the slot should be replaced.

When I turn it on the green light in back flashes for about 10 seconds and then the back panel displays “lens error, restart camera”. Everything else seemed to be working fine up until this started happening. Easily fixable?
