Alcatel Jitterbug Smart

The photos taken by camera are blurry.

Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft cotton cloth. It is highly recommended to use a lens wipe to avoid leaving behind any scratches.

If you’re Jitterbug Smart does not take pictures or all the pictures come out blurry, then it is possible that the camera itself needs to be replaced.

You can't get the battery to charge.

The cable may not be plugged all the way into the phone or wall outlet. Make sure the charger is securely connected to both a working electrical outlet and the device.

A soft reset may be required. Hold the power button for a few seconds and power the phone off. Let it sit for a minute or allow it to cool down before turning back on.

Sometimes there are enough apps running in the background to drain a battery faster than it can be charged. Check under the application and/or battery manager to see if any apps are placing a heavy load on the battery.

The charger may be damaged. Try using it with another device to see if it works.

The battery may be damaged and needs to be replaced.

The display is frozen, doesn't respond to commands, is responsive only in certain areas, has distortion, or doesn't turn on.

The screen may have sustained liquid or physical damage, and may require a screen replacement.

No audio or distorted audio can be heard through headphones.

The headphones themselves may be broken. Try using them with another device to be sure they aren’t the problem.

If the built-in speaker works, the headphone jack itself may need to be replaced.

No matter what you do, you can't get your phone to turn on.

If your phone won't turn on, and you have not used it in a while, you may simply have a drained battery. Try connecting it to a working charger and outlet. If the display doesn't light up and show that it is charging, it’s possible the battery needs to be replaced.

If you try a functioning charging cable and it does not work, there might be a problem with the port. Try cleaning it with a cotton swab first. If cleaning doesn’t work, it may require Alcatel Jitterbug Smart Charging Port Replacement.

There may be damage to the motherboard due to different causes such as water or impact when dropped. Replacement of the motherboard may resolve the issue.
