Chrome OS 运行缓慢
你已连接至互联网，但网页加载速度极慢。
数据同步进程占用过多带宽
由于 Chromebook 上的许多应用程序都在云端运行，数据同步往往会占用大量带宽。前往 Google Drive，选择“设置”，在“常规”设置下勾选“将 Google 文档、表格、幻灯片和绘图文件同步到此计算机，以便离线编辑”。这样无需这些程序也能使用相关文件。
打开了过多的应用/浏览器窗口
尝试关闭不必要的浏览器窗口和应用，然后检查 Chrome OS 是否变得更加流畅。
Chrome OS 过时
尝试将 Chrome OS 更新至最新版本，以优化性能和效率。
Chromebook 崩溃/卡死
屏幕对触摸板或键盘输入无响应、变黑，或者突然退出应用程序。
Chromebook 可能需要硬重启
关闭计算机，然后断开所有媒体设备（如 USB 驱动器）的连接。接下来，拔下交流电源适配器并拆下电池。按住电源按钮 7 秒钟进行硬重启。最后，重新接上交流电源适配器并在不连接电池的情况下打开计算机。如果 Chromebook 能正常启动，则说明硬重启完成。
操作系统占用过多内存
计算机只有在分配了足够内存的情况下才能运行，因此如果内存在特定时间被全部占用，可能会导致设备卡死。首先尝试删除不必要的文件或应用程序，并在任务管理器中结束未使用的后台进程：按下 Ctrl + Shift + Esc 并进入“进程”选项卡。如果此操作无效，建议将所有本地文件保存到闪存盘或外置硬盘中，并通过注销 Chromebook，按住 Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R 并选择重启，将设备恢复出厂设置。当出现对话框时，选择“重置”。
Chromebook 无法连接至 Wi-Fi
你的 Chromebook 未连接到互联网。状态区域内账户头像旁的楔形符号可能显示为灰色。
Wi-Fi 已关闭
打开 Chromebook 后，检查状态区域内照片旁的楔形符号。如果该符号为灰色，请点击账户照片，点击 Wi-Fi 网络，然后点击开关将其开启（变为蓝色），以重新打开 Wi-Fi。
调制解调器或路由器故障
关闭路由器和调制解调器，等待 10 秒。重新打开路由器和调制解调器，然后检查网络连接。
路由器过时
部分旧款路由器无法与 Chrome OS 兼容。尝试连接至其他 Wi-Fi 源。如果连接成功，建议将旧路由器更换为较新的型号，因为原路由器可能与 Chrome OS 不兼容。
需要重启
有时，简单地重启 Chromebook 即可解决 Wi-Fi 连接问题。

You can’t remove the battery on most Chromebooks; the unit is sealed so the battery is inaccessible, unless you’re suggesting dismantling the Chromebook and invalidating any warranty/insurance a user may have.

When I read the advise offered to liam hughes, who sees no cursor on screen, which suggests to remove the battery, I’m doubtful if there’s a chance to find a solution to my problem with this Acer Chromebook. The person who offers advise shouldn’t be that ignorant, assuming that a battery installed in this type Chromebook can be removed?
But I’ll give it a try. Since I’ve got a couple of external hard drives in use often and prefer to use a mouse as well, there’s not much room to plug them in, with only 1 USB portal.
Recently I’ve bought a USB hub with 4 portals, with a cable connected to my Chromebook with the other end in the USB hub. Plus a cable plugged in the USB hub and in the electric socket at the other end. The blue lights on the USB hub are on when I switch the buttons on ON. There’s no effect, it doesn’t show up on my Chromebook, do I have to download an app or extension, so that I can use the USB hub?

My Chromebook asked for an OS update with no other options. Now it won’t turn on, it keeps going to a screen that says “Your device is going through a critical update please do not shut off” or something like that, and it won’t go to another screen.
