Yes that would still be the antenna most likely.
The antenna on these seems to be built into the power button board if I remember right.

No, sorry. I don’t know of anywhere to buy them brand new.
The only good way to fix this is to get a new connector and solder it onto the board correctly. That’s the only good way that I know of to do it.
@pccheese Hey thank…I do make mine more to help others see how to get them apart & repair them so I’m glad to know that I’m getting there!
TR8 or TR9 work fine. I presonally use a TR8 because I've found it to fit looser and not get stuck in the screw hole. When I'm fixing a bunch of these at a time it makes it much faster if the bit doesn't stick in the screw.
Yes, it's connected to your motherboard. It will need to be replaced if it's not working.
