Me after a photo shoot.

I like web development and Linux. I also have an affinity for backpacking, music, and urban exploration. My online personality exists at http://natwelch.com.
I am a huge believer in open source software and the sharing of information, so if you have any interest in things like that hit me up.
I am pretty active throughout the internet, you can find me on sites like:

My Jeep chilling in the snow.
In my free time, I love to go up to the mountains. I don't do nearly enough backpacking or camping these days, but I still go snowboarding a lot in the winter and hike in the summer when I can.
Great work everyone! This is fantastic.
Ooh pretty. Although I do miss your old hand model ;)
Very cool teardown. The white balance on your photos looks a little off, but that's not a big deal. Good work!
I may have some problems with Apple's software as of late, but %@@&, their hardware is still very sexy.
It's so nice to see such a broad spectrum of color in a teardown.
This is such a long step, but well detailed. Nice job.
As for the board, without de-soldering it there is sadly nothing you can do, as far as I know.
No there isn't. Which is quite sad, that is such an awesome feature normally.
Wow, this is so cool. Seeing this makes me feel really young.
Ha! Very clever guys. Thanks for tearing this apart, I was very curious as to what was inside.
