i got the phone and plug it in, it boots right up, but after it boot up, it did not show its charging. so, it is detecting the the charger, cause it boot when its plug in. I power down the phone and re-seat the lightning cable by the battery connector. also i clean out the lightning port, which has lints. then it starts to charge.
i had problem with the touch connection on the iphone 5c. It had to be just right fit to make the touch work. If you get the click sound, then you are got good connection, if not, redo the connection.
i try to open it up and broke the connector to the wheel, now the display wont come by. does the problem with the display have something to do with the wheel connector? ie, if i get a click wheel, which comes with the connector cable, would the display come back on? or is the display problem something else? thanks.
when putting back the digitizer ribbon cable, make sure the white line are not visible and inside the connector. I did not push the cable all the way in, and the digitizer was not responsive at all.
could it be the replacement screen? test with your old screen and see if you have the same problem.
i found using a needle works well too, as the fine point of the needle will be able to get under the adhesive and i can gently separate it.
