Hi @tushiya, I have a list of questions i provide to many people before i finalize the diagnosis: (1) Has this device undergone any major incidents (EG liquid damage) (2) How old is the device (3) What steps have you taken to troubleshoot this (4) Have you opened up the device before These are all great questions to answer before going any further. However I can bring up a few possibilities here: (1) Your PS button is not seated properly (2) Your cable is not seated properly (3) The button could be liquid damaged causing a short (4) It may be sticky due to liquid damage All of the above are likely possibilities however it is very dependent on what had happened at the time this started happening
Hello, This could be caused by many things. I've seen many of these and the main causes are: Not seating a connector properly Bridging a contact/pin/connector Incorrect cable placement Failure to properly prepare the device for repair Failure to ensure the device is off All of the above are common causes of boot looping. Here are some troubleshooting steps: (1) Hold the home button and power button while on boot until the apple logo shows. Let go of the pwr (Power) button and hold the home button until it reaches a screen with: A computer, a website URL and a itunes logo. This is DFU mode (I think correct me if I am wrong) (2) Try reseating the internal connectors (3) Test on another iphone (If you have another one around) (4) Good luck!
Hello, Can you give us a bit more detail as it is hard to help you if I don't have more info How old were they when this happened? What were you doing when this happened? What troubleshooting steps did you take? Has anything happened to these previously (EG water damage)
Good afternoon Lucas, This could be due to multiple things,: (1) Connections aren't right (2) Voltages/current from charger is too low (3) Something shorted out and caused something else to fry. To help I'll answer your questions one by one: Before i go any further I am not a professional repair technician however these are some good pieces of advice in my opinion. Hopefully someone else more experienced will be able to take this further: (1) That strange noise, was that a kind of static noise or some kind of pop? This could be multiple things like the hard drive (2) Did you check with the old screen back on the device before discarding it? (3) If the battery has to be removed for the LED to come on then something is consuming too much voltage (PLS help someone lol) (4) You might think it is the new screen but did you (4.1) Ground yourself with an Anti static wrist strap? (4.2) Check all the connections and ensure there was no power to the board during the repair? (4.3) Unplug all connections and plug one...
Good afternoon, As you may know storage drives will perform slower when they are full (Or close to). Although this rule holds up, if it takes longer than 5 seconds to move between menu items then something is really wrong here. Often times hard drives can spit out warning when they are really old (Rolling on my g'ol friends at ltt). Lets try this: Bring your ear close to the PS4 at these 3 stages (1) Startup: When you turn on the PS4 if it is louder than the disc drive that would mean it's time for a new one (2) Idle: When it's just sitting on the home screen is it obnoxiously loud? This is another sign that it needs replacement (3) Loading the game in question (Please let me know ASAP): When loading up that game (And all the others) Is the hard drive spinning at really high RPM's? I wouldn't say that's hard drive replacement level. (4) It is also a good idea to check if the fans are really loud at these three stages. This means it's overheating and thereby throttling. If this is the case then either:...
Good afternoon from the down under, If it is going to sleep and then turning on after 10-20 minutes, let's run through a few things (1) How often does this happen after you turn it on and start using it (2) Under what workload does this occur if it's specific. (3) Does the computer get hot and/or the fans ramp up (4) Is it unresponsive in that sleep period from any of the controls/inputs (EG trackpad/keyboard or touchscreen) (5) Have you done basic troubleshooting steps such as: (5.1) Resetting the entire PC (5.2) Opening it up to check the connections (5.3) Tightening down any screws that were loose (6) If all of the above have been completed and passed, is the laptop unusable on your lap (EG it gets really hot). I have a lenovo Ideapad 730S-13IML which had a dead battery, ran slower than my dual core macbook air and ran really hot. After replacing it it's alot snappier and cooler. (7) Has it had any underlying issues previously that were repaired All of these steps are good to use on any electronics...
Good evening from the down under, If you're a skilled repair technician then go right on ahead and fix the port. If your not though, you: (1) Will be stuck using wireless charging forever (2) Take it to apple and they will quote you an extortionate price for replacement (3) Take it to a repair technician who will quote a more reasonable price.
Good morning form down under, Sadly Samsung and their fold displays are really difficult to work with and the parts would be too expensive if you found them on ebay. Even if you try to put it into ebay it's only going to come up with screen protectors (Not the actual screens). I think it might be worth another go with samsung support otherwise if u have the cash to shell out for a new one u can possibly try open this one and take the parts out. Besides, the outer screen works perfectly right?
Hi Marco, If the OG samsung one was X2 chances are that's how many lanes are allocated to the nvme slot. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do and unless this harms performance in a way that makes it unusable i'm sure it should run fine. Of course I am not dismissing this as not a problem but maybe it's best to try find detail on the Custom NVMe slot Apple uses one their macbook pro's. I know i still have the original 512 samsung drive in my macbook pro running catalina and it doesn't harm performance.
Hi Chris, Have you checked your pins aren't bent or anything? Have you tried replacing the HDMI port? (If your skilled otherwise don't) Did this just randomly happen or did something lead up to this? If all of the above are true (Randomly happened, no bent pins) you like have the BLOD or WLOD (Aka the permanently unfixable problem). You can try booting into safe mode by holding the button until you hear 2 beeps. What can be attempted next is to tighten down some washers and see if that will fix it. If not then pull out the hard drive, buy a cheap SATA to USB cable and get your data off it.
