Unfortunately, if the port is broken, you would need to solder a new USB port onto the motherboard. There really isn’t much luck trying to repair the broken port from the outside.
Depending on what speakers you used, if they are aftermarket they may not be as good of quality as OEM. OEM Apple parts are near impossible to obtain, but I would potentially look into a different aftermarket speaker from a different company. I would also check to make sure the connection is nice and clean and seated well.
It appears you have damaged the flex cable for the Home Button, does the button still work? On the 7, it is a Taptic button, so chances are if the home button no longer functions you have lost Touch ID, and only Apple can fix this. (Replace the phone) .
It seems like an issue with Transmission. First verify the gear shifter is connected properly, and if possible attach images of the new work you did with the Transmission.
The reason a phone usually doesn’t charge is because it detects an issue with the battery. This is for your safety and to prevent fires. Replace the battery, I would most certainly RMA that battery.
Hey Piper, it is possible that the LCD connection is slightly loose, I would suggest disconnecting the battery, and then reseating the LCD connectors, and then connecting the battery. If this doesn’t work, it is possible the backlight in your display may have been slightly damaged, and will require a new screen to fix. I hope this helps! Best of luck, Alec
Most likely, the battery or charge port has failed, and bot are soldered to the Logic board. If you are good at Micro Soldering it can be fixed, however, it may be expensive to send in for a repair.
Other than an adhesive, not really. If using adhesive, you want to be careful to make sure it isn’t covering any important sensors. Welding the tabs on can be difficult, as you will need to get the exact size of the tabs proper.
Hi, it sounds like damage to the part of the chip on the Logic Board, caused during the original disassembly of the wifi module. You can try replacing the module you bought to rule out a faulty part, but repair of the chip might involve skilled micro-soldering.
Depending on how hard you are pressing. Has the device ever been opened? If so, it could be because of the original adhesive-sealing not being properly in place due to the removal of the screen.
You may have not properly seated the proximity sensor, check to assure all plastic label stickers have been removed from the from and that it is properly seated. If it is damaged you will have to purchase a new flex.
You can try to solder the connections on, but I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to make different connections. You can try it, let us know how it works out if you do.
I fix these everyday for my school, and I have torn the WIFI antenna. The fix isn't too difficult you just have to be careful. I often use antennas from iPad's that are too damaged to fix. I agree it is poor placement as the adhesive can melt to the chip and pull it up with the screen.
I don't give that information out unless I know the person. Thank you for the kind words though.
I find it strange that they tell you the battery is not removable, I mean literally it is, it isn’t soldered lol.
Great Guide, professional and honest to proper procedures, good work Jeff Suovanen.

Yes it will lose the water-resistant abilities. It is very hard to seal it back to it's original state.
