Hey Ray, It sounds like it is possible that you have overcharged and damaged your battery. This drill's charger is not a trickle charger so leaving it plugged in will damage it. Luckily there is an easy fix. Check out our troubleshooting pagefor replacement guides.
Hey Eric, It is very possible that your LED went bad. This will not effect the performance of your drill but if you wish to replace the LED check out our troubleshooting page. This page should be able to help you with any issues you have.
