Keep searching. Nook HD+ parts r very hard to find. Ebay has good working Nooks $50-60. U may have to find a used nook & do the repair that way.
阅读更多Have u looked on ebay? Ur best bet if ur going to do the repair is find a used nook on ebay & replace ur screen from that. Also ive sometimes just seen the screens by themselves as well. Decent working Nooks r going for around 50-60 bucks. U will pay much more for the screen by itself.

阅读更多3.65v 6000mah 21.9wh GBS02-308594-0100 Power99 has an excellent video on youtube on the teardown. Take ur time don't rush. I tore mine apart & didn't break anything...whew! T5 or T6 screwdriver Tape/magnetic to hold the 22 screws. Flat rounded tip wedge for GENTLY prying the bezel and back off. I used 3 wedges. Mine turned out not to b the battery but the internal charging port. That was extremely tricky z4 me!

阅读更多Don't do a factory reset til uve backed everything up or moved it to an external sd card! U will lose everything! Mine has this same issue. The battery would start to heat up, which I've read happens frequently with nooks, & becomes unresponsive/freezes. I just shut it down, wait about 15 min or so til it cools down. When its turned back on its fine.
阅读更多Yes, I found a used nook @ yard sale. B4 tearing down the yard sale nook, I √ to make sure it was going to charge 1st. Then I removed the port from that one & replaced my bad port. Take ur time & be very very careful. I found an online video to break down my nook. Power99 had a good video on youtube. Its been so long ago I don't remember if I used a small piece of electrical tape or a dot of electronics glue to hold it in place as I had no way to sauder it back. Works fine now. Tools: **Tweezers w/curved tips to grip the port 4 removal & replacement. **T5 or T6 magnetic screwdriver **Flat plastic pry tool w/ a smooth rounded tip NOT a fingernail file!! **Tape or magnet to hold the 22 screws from the frame of ur nook. Just remember to go very slowly & don't rush.
