Slide and click the battery release latches to keep them open.

Insert a plastic scribe into the indent to lift the hinge cover on the right side.

Ease the hinge cover up, moving from right to left, and remove it.

Remove the four screws at the top of the keyboard.

Slide the keyboard toward the back of the computer to disengage the notch on the keyboard from the tab on the base of the computer.

Lift and remove the keyboard.

Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory module connector until the module pops up.

Remove the memory module from the connector.
