This guide will demonstrate how to remove individual keycaps from the keyboard of a Dell Inspiron M5010.

  Make sure laptop is powered off before removing the battery.
  
  Slide both arrow tabs towards the outer edge of the computer to release the battery.

  Grasp the top of they keycap, and pull it up slightly.
  
  The keyboard does not have to be removed from the laptop to replace a keycap.

  Gently unsnap the keycap you are replacing.
  
  Be careful not to snap the switch below the keycap.
