Background
The Lenovo Yoga 510-14AST is a 2-in-1 convertible notebook released in 2016 as part of Lenovo’s IdeaPad product line. Designed to function as both a laptop and a tablet, the device features a 360-degree hinge that allows it to fold, flip, and rotate into multiple positions.
The Yoga 510-14AST belongs to the Yoga 510 series. This series is a mid-range convertible lineup designed for everyday computing tasks. The device was a continuation of Lenovo’s earlier Yoga 500 models, which maintained similar convertibility, but the 510 provided updated internal parts.
At launch, the Yoga 510-14AST sold for $533, positioning it as the affordable version in the lineup.
A review from Notebook Check noted that the display performs best when viewed from the front. Wider viewing angles produced reduced brightness and contrast.
The Yoga 510 series was later succeeded by the Lenovo Yoga 520 in 2017, which introduced an updated processor and memory.
