Background
Released in 2011, the Kinivo ZX100 Mini Portable speaker has a round shape and three "legs". It has three buttons, one on each leg (control the volume up, volume down, and power on/off). The last leg has the brand name printed on it. The center of the device consists of a resonator, a twist-to-expand bass chamber that expands for better audio.
The Kinivo ZX100 Mini Portable speaker is compatible with any device that has a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device can be charged for wireless usage through its USB charging port. Unlike the similar BTX110 Wireless Bluetooth Mini Portable Speaker, the ZX100 does not have Bluetooth capabilities. Unlike some of Kinivo's other devices, the ZX100 does not allow the user to do a factory reset—a simple power cycle is the extent of its capabilities.
Identification
The Kinivo ZX100 is available in a variety of colors, including grey/green, grey/purple, grey/orange, grey/yellow, and grey/pink, and black/red. You can identify your portable speaker by its unique shape and size. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The Kinivo logo is printed in white on one of the "legs" of the speaker. You can identify your speaker by the model number on the original packaging and on the bottom of the device.
