Background and Identification
Intubation systems are used to help assist patients who are placed on a ventilator. By definition, intubation is the procedure of inserting an andotracheal tube (ET) through the patient’s mouth and into the airway. Intubation systems are paired along with ventilators and help transport oxygen into the airways of the patient. Intubation systems are required when a patient is under general anesthesia.
