Corsair K65 Plus Wireless Repair

The Corsair K65 Plus Wireless launched in February 2024 as Corsair's first 75% wireless mechanical keyboard, combining a compact layout with enthusiast-focused features like hot-swappable switches, sound dampening, a multifunction rotary dial.

It supports 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB wired connectivity, and includes per-key RGB lighting, a rechargeable battery, and a hot swappable PCB designed for customization and repair.

At launch, the K65 Plus Wireless was positioned as a premium compact keyboard for both gaming and everyday use.

With Pros being its typing experience, sound-dampening foam, and competitive price point compared to rivals like the ASUS Azoth.

While cons are the lack of advanced features like an OLED screen or an 8kHz polling rate, though it maintains a standard 1kHz rate.

In the past, there have been reports about several problems primarily centered around connectivity issues, where the keyboard constantly disconnects in 2.4GHz mode. Aside from that, there were many different firmware issues where the dongle was rendered useless and depleted battery life.

To ensure you are using the correct device page, check the data plate on the keyboard. The Corsair K65 Plus Wireless's data plate is on the back of the device. Flip the keyboard over, and you should see 'Corsair' on the left-hand side of the plate. On the right-hand side, in small text, you should see the phrase 'K65 PLUS WIRELESS 75% RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard'.

Other distinguishing characteristics of the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless are the plastic case and internal metal frame. It also has a dial on the top right and dual-tone keycaps in gray and white.
