The Asus UL80J laptop can be identified using the service tag that is located on the backside. On the upper tag below the bar code, the specific model number is listed, and will say UL80J-BBK5.
The Asus UL80J-BBK5 was released in 2010, and has since been replaced by the UL80JT model. The UL80J-BBK5 was introduced as a cheaper gaming laptop, built to compete with the Alienware M11x and other similar options at the time. Its dedicated graphics card made it a cheaper alternative to the gaming laptops of the time.
