Why are my apps not loading?
tap apps then flash to game then goes back to the home screen
the same thing is happening to me but i have the 4th generation
help anybody?

Check your capacity... You may be near the limit, remove the last installed app, clean up your phone and get rid of things you don't use. Double click home and all the last used apps/ background apps open. Close them down

If Pollytintop's answer didn't fix your problem, press the home button first and sleep button next and keep pressing it for exactly 8 seconds. Release pressing and leave it for next 15 seconds. Now press sleep button again to power on.
See if it fixes your issue. If not, connect it to iTunes, Backup and then Restore it. It should work. Cheers!
