Check what the status of the Bluetooth adapter is in Device Manager.
Go to Device manager → Bluetooth → right click on the Bluetooth adapter entry → Properties → General tab and check what it shows in the device status box.
To get to Device Manager in Win10/Win11 press the Win key + x key (both together) and click on the Device Manager link the menu options box that appears.
If there's a red cross next to the Bluetooth entry in Device Manager, right click on the entry and select Enable this device and then restart the laptop in the normal manner and check if the Bluetooth is now working OK
If there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the Bluetooth entry in Device Manager, right click on the entry and select Update drivers and follow the prompts. You need to be online for this to work.
If there's no Bluetooth adapter entry in Device Manager, is the WiFi working OK?
