Mileage, maintenance history? Without more background info, guessing can cover many possibilities; spark plugs never replaced, air filter clogged, dirty throttle body, loss of transmission oil (leakage), faulty maf and/or map sensor, damaged catalytic converter blocking exhaust flow, creating the equivalent of engine constipation; exhaust system blocking exhaust flow.
