Replacement battery life for Switch?
Just replaced the battery in my Switch with a part I ordered from iFixit. I did the calibration procedure but the battery lasts less than an hour playing Smash. Is this normal or did I get a bad battery?

How long were you be able to game before?

I think it's normal to last that long for the ifixit battery.
How long does it last with other games and in Idle?
That would be a nice test as well!

The previous battery was shot, was only getting 10-20 mins which is why I replaced it. Obviously when it was new it'd last 4-6 hours. Wasn't expecting that much from the iFixit battery but I thought they had a reputation for quality parts so I was hoping for at least a couple hours so it's disappointing.
Will have to experiment more, but it seems to drop about 40-50% when it's sitting all day unplugged in sleep mode.
Ah, 40 - 50% in sleep mode is pretty fast.... Maybe the battery is faulty.
If it gets worse, then I would return it and get yourself a new one and see how that goes!
But you can test it first and see how it goes!
