UMD is not being read
When I try to play a game, I get the error message as shown in the image. Happens with all my UMDs. What could be the problem?

A bad laser? This thing is 20 years old, it’s about time the laser fails.

Worth cleaning the laser lens at all?
Yep sound like laser issues. Cleaning will be a nice start, but a big chance that the laser died.
@jayeff The problem with laser cleaning is you can't reach the lower lens, which are often just as dirty as the upper ones. If you can get lasers for cheap, just replace them.
@dan0 How do I clean the laser? Where can I buy a new laser?
