Controller thumb board question.
Why buy a used thumb board for 45$?That may or may not have bad thumbs. And can buy a brand new controller for the same price? I don't get these companies, further more people on ebay and Amazon. Ugh SMH.

Hi!
That is probably because it’s an original one. The prices aren’t cheap and so the replacement part could be a little cheaper then the controller it self. It really depends on which part you need to buy. You can replace the thumbsticks it self which are way cheaper, but this requires soldering.

Yes I know it requires soldering. But even from Microsoft you can get a new board with both thumb sticks in it for 35$. It just baffles me. I have been truthfully just looking for a new board without any thumb sticks being soldered in at all. I want to put different thumbs (better quality) in and would like a new product to work with. But thanks for your time.
Ah, a board which has no sticks soldered on it, is hard to find. Maybe at AliExpress? Anyway, the most of them have already the sticks on it!
