I had my Xbox 360 for a long time but at some point I couldn't get the games to load unless the Xbox was turned on before and kind of get set and ready, then the disks wouldn't read so I was only capable of playing the download games but suddenly it would only let us turn it on but my family and I weren't capable of selecting a player, it would just be on. It's an Xbox Star Wars edition

Hi!
Okay, so it actually hangs in the menu and is frozen. I know that when the CPU is having issue, that this can happen. It’s basically close to a RROD. But.. could also be the harddrive. I would replace this first! Way easier repair and worth a try. Please replace this one first and see if that solves it or not!

It would just be on but we can't do anything, it's kind of stuck on the "select a player" menu, it does turn on but we can't do anything or sometimes it would show like this reading a disk menu, the one where you can play or stop or rewind a movie, that menu. We don't know what's broken, that's why I'm asking too, to see what the problem could be
