Why doesn't my xbox do anything on pressing the power botton?

The last time I turn on my Xbox i was seeing black screen on my TV and nothing showed after waiting for 5 minutes i turned off Xbox by manually pushing Xbox button on my console for 5 seconds. and after that my console does nothing , No start up sound No light on Xbox button, NO SIGN OF LIFE. I checked everything changed the wall plug checked HDMI removed adapter and plugged it back again. but it still doesn't show any sign of life.. how can i tell what the problem is?

Hi!

When there is no sign of life at all, I recommend to replace the PSU first.

This guide explains how: Xbox One S Power Block Replacement

If the new PSU isn't working as well, then return it and then you do need to check the motherboard. But let's try a new PSU first!

last night i did nothing new to the xbox but when i tryied powering it on it turned on to my surprise i was over joyed and shut it down then came back after some time and then tried to turn it on and nothing no sound no light .. i am confused now...

This could still be PSU! I recommend to replace this one first and see if that fixes it!
