Hi,
I got a cheap switch with no LCD to try to repair/installed myself.
Before ordering the LCD I wanted to check if there was other problems, the first thing I noticed is that it does not power on, when docked the dock light blinks once and that's it.
Is this normal or is it possible there are some other problems?

Hi Mike!
The Switch does need an LCD to operate. Since someone already worked on the console, please check all the components including the cables if they are still OK. It’s possible that there are more components in there, which are not working… but to be sure you need an LCD first… hopefully all other components are still fine.. there is just 1 way to test this.
Good luck with the repair! Hopefully you will get the Switch fixed again.
