My right Joy-Con (Neon Red) is just not working at all. I've tried every step in the book. I opened the Joy-Con and the Flex Ribbon Cable wasn't snapped in half. I put my Switch in docked mode, did not work. Tried resetting the joycons and re-pairing them to Switch, but my Joy-Con just refuses to show any sign of life. I'm so lost as if to what I'm doing wrong or if there even is a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well now we just need to be sure if it's either the rail which is unable to charge the Joy-Con or the motherboard which have an defect.
First things first, did you tried another Switch? Do you have another Switch (or a friend who owns one) where you can test it on?
I would try replacing the rail first before you are going to replace the motherboard.
Best thing to do is to order the part and test it (also order a new battery with it so you can test this one as well). If it didn't worked, get yourself a refund.

I had considered the possibility of my Joy-Con's rail being faulty, as far as the Switch's rail goes, I can confirm it works perfectly fine as I have used other Joy-Cons on rent. Unfortunately, I cannot test it on an another Switch as I do not know anyone who owns one, besides having to go through the trouble of getting it tested in my local shop. I can try my luck with a rail or battery replacement if you think those might be at fault. What are the odds it's the rails that're at fault you think?
Hi! The Joy-Con rail does fail sometimes. So hopefully this is the part that need an replacement. The battery is still fine I guess, but you can test with a full battery to see if the Joy-Con does want to turn on or not. I would try replacing the rail first.
