Hi,
I was given a 13" Macbook Pro A1502 Early 2015 2,7GHz i5 8GB and Intel Graphics that has trackpad and keyboard issues:
- keyboard is not working except for on/off button
- beyboard back light is not working
- trackpad is not working
external devices work fine.
I found the fix to replace the trackpad cable to fix both keyboard and trackpad, but I was wondering whether the dead backlight might stem from a different issue?

Referencing this guide Step 21 替换MacBook Pro 13‘’Retina显示器2015年早期版本的主板 you can see the keyboard backlight connection. Often when I encounter issues you collectively have is after a liquid spill into the keyboard. It’s a fair amount of work to replace the keyboard and it’s backlight unit.
