New memory card reader doesn't read
I was getting an error code "can't read memory card". I bought a Switch memory card, no change. So I changed the memory card reader. I don't get the error code but the SD card won't even highlight on the settings.

Try putting the sd card in a computer. Get info on it. SD cards can be formatted like a usb. Ensure it is FAT32 or ExFAT. If not, format it to that.

The card is ExFat
Ok, that's one possibility crossed off. Is there any data/games on the card? If not, try reformatting it. Let me know how that goes.
It's a brand new card for the Nintendo Switch. The first reader didn't read and the new reader doesn't read. I think I will open it up again and see if I plugged it in wrong.
If that is the case do you think it could have something to do with the card? Do you have any other sd cards that you could test the readers with?
New card tested, no difference.
