Determine if there is a SATA SSD or Blade SSD installed

Hey fellow fixers!

I am trying to determine, prior to opening it up whether a late 2013 iMac has a Blade or 2.5 inch SATA SSD installed.

Essentially, this iMac had its original spinning HDD upgraded to a SSD, but I was not the tech who did that upgrade. Now I need to open it up to possibly recover data from the drive and I want to make sure I have the proper enclosure for the process.

I don’t know if the person who did the upgrade installed a blade type SSD or a 2.5 inch SSD.

Is there a way to determine this for sure in system information so I can be sure prior to cracking this thing open?

Thanks in advance!

If the system is still running, go into About This Mac and click on System Report. Now click in SATA/SATA Express and NVM Express tabs to see what is present for drives. Jumping to Storage gives you the volumes report.
