I have an engine code for a bad nox sensor and if I could figure out where it is maybe I can just fix it myself.

I'm not familiar with the 328d, but NOx is created in the engine therefore the sensor will be in the exhaust.

The NOx sensor bank 1 sensor 1 for a BMW 328d is located on the manifold that serves cylinder 1, before the catalytic converter (CAT). The first three cylinders in a BMW are bank 1, and the second three are bank 2.
Number 1 in the diagram.
