How do I change the charging port?

The good news on your phone is that the charging port is mounted on a small daughter card at the bottom of the phone and you can buy and replace that board yourself. And even better, iFixit already has a guide that will give you step by step directions for making that repair! Here are the instructions.

From looking at the parts list for sale here on iFixit, it appears you have to buy a charging port that is specific to your particular carrier. Each one has its own model number, so you'll have to match that to the model number of your phone. Here's a list of carriers and model numbers as it applies to your phone.

• Sprint (G920P)
• T-Mobile (G920T)
• Verizon (G920V)
• AT&T (G920A)
