i Have 2 broken MacBook Airs, a 2020 and a 2022. I got the 2022 air in September 2023 from apple brand new and an exactly a week later I spilled soup on it. I brought it to apple they said it can’t be repaired and they won’t try they wouldn’t even take it back. I also have a 2020 MacBook Air that the backlight went and apple also told me they can’t and won’t fix it. Is it possible to put the m2 Mac screen on the 2020 air ? Or can IFixIt repair them ?

As these are Apple devices, compactivity between parts is likely a no go. That is just a complete guess however based off of what I know about how Apple tends to build their devices. When I have repaired screens on Macs in the past, I have ordered the full screen assembly as I have been told that replacing just the panel is not an easy task. I have never personally tried to replace just the panel. eBay may be a good place to look if you want to find a full screen assembly.
