Windows won’t boot after enabling SVM

I am taking a coding class and was instructed to enable SVM in my BIOS settings. Now after enabling it, Windows won’t boot. It says “there was a problem starting your PC” and just continues in this loop forever. I went back in to troubleshooting and restored the BIOS settings back to what they were, but it still won’t boot. I tried opening the laptop up and taking out the CMOS battery for a minute then turning it on again but same issue.

Apparently this is a known issue. Great eh!

Just go into the BIOS/UEFI and set settings to Default by mouse click or pressing <F9> key. That should do it.
(this for other readers) This video is for the FX504 but the instructions are probably similar for the FX505.

Did you disconnect the charger and the main battery when you took out the CMOS battery and press the power button to discharge any residue electricity?
Some suggest reflashing the UEFI/BIOS.
I would also run a full virus/ malware scan to be safe.
