a question marked folder appears
I have a tickling noise in hd of laptop and as i switched on the book, i got no display except a folder icon marked by a question symbol.plz do me favor and guide me about the issue

The clicking sound and Question mark together indicates your hard drive has failed or is very badly corrupt. Try booting up with your install disk and go to the utility tab and "Disk Utility" If it comes up and sees the drive it may just need to be repaired. If the machine will not boot or if it does not show up in the window in Disk Utility it is most likely needing the hard drive to be replaced.
Use Disk Utility first to repair if it does show up on left side of window and go from there. But it may freeze up if the clicking continues.
The drive is a 2.5 SATA drive. To replace follow the instructions listed below.:

The 7200 drives, like mactech recommended, will give you a nice speed access bump over the standard 5400 drives.
