Crash/Bootloop with picture artifacts on TV

Hi. My 5 years and 2 months old (bummer... 2 months past warranty) TV started this endless failure loop yesterday. First time it happened I didn't worry too much. I turned on the TV again and resumed for 45 minutes or so and then it happened again. Third time it happened after 5 minutes and now it happens every 15 seconds or so. Sometimes faster... Strange thing is it only happens when playing video. I can browse the menus and settings on both the TV and Nvidia Shield (little less stable on the shield, i.e. happens sometimes)... Every video playing on either Nvidia Shield, Chromecast, PlayStation, and the inbuilt Chromecast in WebOS results in the failure seen on the movie I put here. Tried different monitor settings and to play video without sound. Happens no matter what as long there's video playing. I really want to fix this myself, but have no idea what component/board is failing.

Any idea is very much appreciated!

@powerengineer93 jyst to verify, this does not happen while streaming, live TV. Only on video playback? What settings do you set your TV on in order to facilitate video playback?

Hello @oldturkey03. Not special settings in particular. I have had the same settings on the TV since it was new. The failure happens every time there is a lot of moving picture on the screen. Streaming for instance.

@powerengineer93 dread those kind of errors. Could be an issue with the video processor on your main board. Could also be a T-con board issue. We would have to see your boards. Take the back cover off and post some pictures with your question

What was the cause of the issue?
