i've followed the xbox 360 ring of death repair steps Help!
I've followed the step-by-step instructions.......when i power it up I still get the 3 red lights blinking, I'm trying to get it to over heat but no luck
Any ideas?

Sometimes people aren't aggressive enough with their heating. This is good because you've prevented damage to other components but this also means that you didn't heat the targeted chips enough to re-flow the solder. I would suggest repeating the process and letting things get a little hotter. If you happen to have an infrared thermometer, a target temp of around 400F-425F is good to aim for.

heat it for 30 to 45 minutes. then cool down. if still rrod then could be a 0110 which is the ram chips have a cold solder joint
