Hi there.
I have MacBook Pro 2018 with CRAZY over 3000MB/s and boot time was like 30 seconds - and now I got now Mac Mini M2 BASE MODEL which means 1500MB/s and....... boot time is about..... 7-8 SECONDS (from power button click to login screen) - both systems on THE SAME macOS!!! It is nearly the same time as MBP 2018 too to Wake Up !
HOW??!?!
I've asked Google for boot times on MacBook Pro and Air M2 and EVERYONE says average 15 SECONDS

Of course you are starting the systems from a cold boot too? Your numbers don’t line up. I’m sure you are waking your MacBook Pro from Sleep which is very different from a cold boot up you are doing with your Mac Mini.
As far as disk performance are you using BlackMagic to compare? I think you’ll find the M.2 might be slower if you didn’t get the larger storage option. The number of Flash chips has a large bearing on how fast the storage reads or writes. The low end model only has one chip unlike the larger storage options.

yes - BOTH systems startup from cold start.
Then I was talking about how shock was to me mini M2 wake up.

So... you're asking if your Mac is broken because it's booting so fast???
Lol, take your wins where you can get them, my friend.
Please take the way more powerful M2 chip over the Intel chip in your MacBook into account. The M2 system as a whole is a multitude of times faster than your MacBook. That’s probably what makes the difference.
