Hello. I changed the screen of a macbook and I realized that when I open and close the screen quickly (normaly, like if it's the first time you open your mac), there are no problems. But if I move it gently to reposition the screen higher or lower and therefore go more slowly when I move it, it makes a little creak when I start to move it. I hope I explained myself clearly enough. Any explanations/solutions? Thanks.

It might be worth cleaning the hinges with isopropyl alcohol from the inside as there could be debris caught in them

I would stay away from lubricants as they could remove the tension/stiffness of the hinges
Also if you go ahead with the isopropyl alcohol make sure to use it with a soft cloth in small amounts as it can get behind the display if you aren’t careful which can cause watermarks on the display behind the glass
